The Lumina project came out of the Loochi project, an abandoned Bluetooth controlled RGB lamp that missed its crowdfunding target. A redesign became necessary when key components of the original project went obsolete. Lumina is an up-to-date design with a modern RGBW LED, a new Bluetooth module, a new microcontroller and even a new name.
