The new device enables 100% batteryless switch applications within 2.4 GHz systems like ZigBee.
 
EnOcean’s new product and technology is based on kinetic energy harvesting and the field-proven ECO 200 electromechanical energy converter. It proves that kinetic energy harvesting technology can run any kind of ultra-low power radio device.
 
The new 2.4 GHz product family includes types:
 
  • PTM 215ZE – a 2.4 GHz radio pushbutton transmitter module, mechanically compatible with the industry standard PTM 21x module form factor.
  • PTM 535Z – a 2.4 GHz radio transmitter module, combined with the ECO 200 energy converter, has a smaller form factor than the PTM 215ZE.
  • TCM 515Z – the 2.4 GHz radio transceiver with ESP3 interface enables quick integration of EnOcean 2.4 GHz solutions into actuators, gateways and controllers.
