Hi Lars Sorry, No. I use the Elektor SDR Shield with my G8JCFSDR software, so I have no need of an LCD attached to the UNO. The G8JCFSDR directly controls the tuning of the SDR shield to 1Hz precision without any glitching. Why are U using an LCD since you will also need a PC/MAC/LINUX to demodulate the I/Q output or are U building a h/w phasing/Weaver type receiver ? 73 Peter - GM8JCF

Hi Lars That is good news ! For the antenna connection, I use a BNC attached to the board using dupont female pair plugged into right angle 2.54mm header pins - cable is about 10cm twisted. When I box it all up, I will change over to RG174. 73 Peter - GM8JCF

I plan to use such  a decetor for local positioning. If I use say three different 5.8 GHZ source (like XYC-WB-DC) and a detector like this one, I am hoping to get my position relative to the sources. Will that be possible? Signal strength might be calibrated as distance from a source, so I obtain three distace values and calculate my (detecetor's) position.
