It is often necessary to provide
power for an operational
amplifier from a single supply.
Instead of the usual potential
divider with coupling capacitors
or the rather more sophisticated transducer, the
present circuit uses a pump. Operational
amplifier IC1a is arranged as
the pump oscillator.
