Low-noise crystal oscillator

Nowadays, the design of many oscillators is based on a couple of logic gates and a crysial. Unfortunately, these oscillators are very noisy and have a tendency to overdrive the crystal. These drawbacks adversely affect the shortterm as well as the long-term stability.
