While developing ElektorBus applications it started to get a bit tedious to have to set up all the hardware every time. This new PC-based software simulates up to three freely-programmable bus nodes, which can be even used in conjunction with real-world bus nodes and with another master, perhaps running on a smartphone. This allows development and testing with or without actual bus hardware, and allows much greater insight into the operation of the bus.
