With many smart Covid-19-related safety measures in place, technical exhibitions are opening up again. This November, the world’s leading trade fair for electronics development, productronica 2021, will welcome guests to Munich, Germany. With it, the productronica Fast Forward platform, powered by Elektor, searches for the most significant innovations from the start-up community. Join us on November 4, 2021, for an Elektor webinar during which we talk to the Fast Forward sponsors to find out why they are sponsoring this initiative and how they support start-ups.

During the webinar, we’ll be speaking about start-ups with representatives from the following companies:

  • Platinum Sponsor – NCAB Group, sustainably delivering printed circuit boards at the lowest total cost through our competence, delivery accuracy, and product quality.
  • Gold Sponsor – Almit, the future-oriented business of family Mendel, who deliver solder wires, solder pastes, and of course, lead-free solders.

As well as learning more about their companies and their start-up initiatives, we will talk about the global chip crisis, we will discuss the impact the coronavirus has had on the sponsors, and we will review some of the upcoming highlights at productronica. And, as always, we’ll be answering your questions during the show!

Benjamin Klingenberg has been Managing Director of NCAB Group Germany GmbH since fall 2019. The printed circuit board has accompanied him his entire career. Klingenberg has already worked for NCAB Group in the past, at that time as Key Account Manager, where he set up a completely new business unit in Northern Germany for NCAB Germany. Under Klingenberg's leadership, NCAB Germany has already seen both major organic growth and growth through acquisitions, such as the recent purchase of the PCB manufacturer sas-electronics in Bavaria.

Almit is one of the top 5 leading manufacturers of soldering material worldwide. The German site in Michelstadt is run by the Mendel family as a family business. Fabian Mendel is 31 years old and lives in the Odenwald district. Together with his younger brother David Mendel, he is the second generation to succeed the company. He began supporting his parents in the business while he was still at school. Since completing his master's degree in Family Entrepreneurship in 2016, he has been responsible for strategic marketing, the further development of the international sales network and the optimization of internal processes as Business Development Manager.
