The Speakers


Keith Donadio is a Principal Embedded Solutions Engineer and a member of the Wireless Solutions Function Group. He has been with Microchip for over fourteen years and provides customers with design and development support for a wide range of products such as microcontrollers, wireless, power and analog. He has presented at Microchip’s annual MASTER’s conference for topics such as: Bluetooth LE Protocol, Designing with Bluetooth Low Energy and Android App development using MIT App Inventor. Keith has been a design engineer for over twenty years before becoming a Field Applications Engineer first in distribution and then with Microchip. His background is in telecom and industrial controls. Outside of work, Keith enjoys playing guitar, embedded projects, woodworking and building tube guitar amplifiers.

Clemens Valens is the Technical Manager of Elektor Labs. He holds a BSc in Electronics and an MSc in Electronics and Information Technology. Valens started working for Elektor in 2008 as editor in chief of Elektor France, and he has also worked as an editor for Elektor UK/US and ElektorMagazine.com. He currently produces engineering tutorials and product reviews at Elektor.tv. In recent videos, Clemens covered the following topics and more: Arduino compiler optimizations, GitHub essentials, home automation, getting started with KiCad EDA, and several informative product reviews.
