Leak coaxial trough-line VHF FM stereo tuner (1962)
Harold Leak was something of a pioneer in the design of high-fidelity sound reproduction equipment. From the 1950s to the end of the 60s his company produced a whole range of hi-fi equipment. The unit in this month’s Retronics spotlight is a ‘trough-line’ FM tuner in original condition which still works 47 years after it left the assembly line in 1962.
