From Oktoberfest to Bits & Pretzels, a lot has happened so far in the German innovation BAY-area, Bavaria! ++<START>++ Always a glamorous start-up event, Bits & Pretzels took place in Munich during the Oktoberfest period. Celebrities like Barack Obama and Jessica Alba and founders of the prestigious companies such as Dropbox, LinkedIn, and Shazam explicitly fuelled the excitement in the crowd. ++<STOP>++

++<START>++ FabLab and Siemens came together to bring the event Hack and Make for the ‘make community’ to Nuremberg. Makers of all ages went to the event to encourage creativity. ++<STOP>++
