The Red Pitaya is known to electronics enthusiasts as an accurate oscilloscope/spectrum analyzer and as a universal development board for your own applications.

The developers of the Red Pitaya have now designed an extension board, which turns the Red Pitaya into an 8-channel logic analyzer. The accompanying software not only shows the measurements for the 8 digital channels, but also decodes SPI, I²C and UART signals.

This extension board has only just made its debut but is already available from Elektor in the Cool Summer Deal campaign with a very attractive discount. The board is supplied in a sturdy aluminum housing (of the same quality as the optional Al-enclosure for the Red Pitaya) and is plugged into the Red Pitaya using two connectors. A test lead with test clips is also supplied.

You can now order your own board for the special price of € 59.95 (normal retail price € 72.50). But don't hesitate for too long, because there are only a limited number available from the first production run!
