The first keynote followed, presented by Wolfgang Mildner of MSWtech. In his talk, Printed & Flexible Electronics – Technology You Can Touch, Opportunities You Can Shape, he highlighted how printed and flexible electronics are opening new possibilities for integrating technology into everyday materials and products.
The morning continued with parallel sessions led by Elektor colleagues, offering a closer look at key trends shaping engineering and communication within the community. In State of Marketing – What European Engineers Really Want, Udo Bormann spoke about how European engineers engage with technical content, current communication trends, and how understanding engineers’ needs can help build stronger connections between technology creators and their audiences.
Meanwhile, Beatriz Sousa, joined by Glaucileine Viera, explored the practical applications of artificial intelligence in AI at Work: Bringing Expert Knowledge to Life with AI, showing how AI tools can transform expert content into interactive, multilingual formats. Using real Elektor examples, they showed how AI can turn articles and books into videos, podcasts, and virtual presentations.
The on-site and online audiences came together for the Elektor Lab Talk livestream, hosted by Jens Nickel and Brian Tristam Williams. The session featured live discussions and insights from guests James Solderitsch, Alfred Rosenkranzer, and Andreas Riedenauer, who shared their takeaways on what has been discussed so far.
In the afternoon, participants joined a series of round-table discussions hosted by the Elektor team. These sessions gave Experts a chance to share ideas and participate:
- How to Write an Effective Technical Article: Tips and Tricks
- From Expertise to Publication: Turning Technical Know-How into Books
- Monetize Your Skills with Elektor
- AI in Electronics
As the sessions concluded around 18:00, the event shifted to conversation and connection. The reception brought together everyone for an evening of relaxed discussion and reflection on the day. Music was provided by bluezone, a visual and sound artist, inventor of instruments and installations.
