Recylcing and Much More

The second annual World Ethical Electronics Forum (WEEF) is scheduled for November 15, 2022, at electronica in Munich. The event will feature engaging debates and talks about a wide range of electronics-related ethical issues, including SDGs, eco-friendly design, the EU Green Deal, ethics in human resources (HR), investing in STEM education, and more.

The WEEF team comprises engineers, journalists, and executives from Elektor, ELEKTRONIK PRAXIS, Lenthe, and electronica. Our mission is to inspire global innovators in electronics with an open discussion about ethics and sustainable development goals. As we approach the event, we ask potential speakers, attendees, and community members to consider the following questions.
  • Do electrical engineers, academics, and industry leaders have an ethical responsibility to use their technical skills and innovations in positive ways?
  • Should ethics play a big role in how electronics companies conduct their business?
  • How can C-level executives incorporate sustainable development, equipment recycling, green manufacturing, and social responsibility in their initiatives?
  • How do your sourcing and logistics-related decisions affect your local community and environment?
