M2M Development Board Eases IoT Development

The Cinterion® Concept development board from Gemalto aims to simplify machine-to-machine (M2M) technology and expand the Internet of Things (IoT). The Cinterion Concept Board is designed to accelearate the creation of innovative solutions in areas such as digital signage, building automation, and the remote monitoring and control of devices.

The new development kit simplifies solution design by allowing the vast community of M2M developers to transform original ideas into prototypes in just hours instead of to days or weeks with traditional approaches. Leveraging Oracle Java ME Embedded, the Cinterion Concept Board gives the international community of Java developers an easy and cost-effective means to address the M2M marketplace.

The Cinterion Concept Board is also cloud-ready thanks to Gemalto’s SensorLogic application enablement platform with secure wireless connectivity enabled by a Cinterion M2M module. The all-in-one kit marries the ease of use of Java embedded solutions with a simple open-source interface for Arduino3 extension boards.

The Cinterion® Concept Board is available now and can be ordered on the Gemalto website.
