Tuk Tuk Team Twente, a six-person team of (former) students from the University of Twente and Saxion University, a 'spin-off' from the Solar Team Twente, will start in the Rickshaw Run 2016 in India on January 1st. The team will drive from the south (Kochi) to the north (Jaisamler) in two tuk-tuks, the most famous transport method in India. The Tukkers use their technical know-how to outfit the tuk-tuks with solar panels. During the race money will be raised for charity.
