Webinar: Intro to Benchtop EMC Testing with Baltic Lab
on
What to Expect in the EMC Testing Webinar
In this session, Sebastian from Baltic Lab joins Elektor host Brian Tristam Williams to explain the fundamentals of EMC and focus on one of its most elusive areas: conducted emissions. He will demonstrate how to perform CISPR 25–compliant benchtop tests using affordable, accessible lab equipment, show a real-world example of a product that exceeds EMC limits, and discuss how to diagnose and correct typical design problems.
The webinar will also outline the four main domains of EMC: conducted and radiated emissions, and conducted and radiated immunity. Participants will learn how interference arises, how to detect it, and how to design circuits that meet compliance standards without relying solely on expensive lab testing.
Giveaway
Elektor is giving away three copies of the book Trilogy of Magnetics: Design Guide for EMI Filter Design, SMPS & RF Circuits (E-book). It serves as a practical reference for engineers working on low-noise, EMC-compliant designs. The guide covers component selection, filter design, and layout techniques, with real-world examples from power and RF applications.
