About the author

Jean-Claude Feltes studied electrical engineering in Aachen, Germany, back when lectures still covered tube technology and 4-bit microcontrollers. In his free time, he developed a modular synthesizer — even before the FORMANT appeared in Elektor. Jean-Claude then became a teacher of electrical engineering, but never lost his passion for circuit design. In addition to analog projects, he also enjoys programming in Python and MicroPython — for example, on the Raspberry Pi Pico.
