Video copy processor
For obvious reasons, the rights owners of Hollywood 'blockbusters' and other films released on video cassettes are doing everything they can to prevent financial losses due to unauthorized copying of their products. Most of these (huge) companies, including Disney, employ an anti-copy process called Macrovision ". In this article we will endeavour to unravel the operation of this technology, as well as describe a pretty intelligent processor which defeats the pulses and other purposely introduced interference that prevents VCR-to VCR copying of Macrovision '"- protected VHS/PAL video tapes.
