Robusta: a Satellite Built by Students
France is well known for its significant participation in the European space programme and for its front-line space industry, but perhaps rather less so for the training of its elite in this field. This is why in 2006 the National Centre for Space Studies (CNES) launched Expresso: the first call for projects to higher education. Montpellier 2 University applied with their Robusta project — a cubesat picosatellite carrying a scientific experiment of interest to the space community.
