electronica Fast Forward 2026 Applications Close Soon
on
electronica Fast Forward 2026 applications are open until July 1, 2026, giving hardware and deep-tech startups a route onto the show floor at Messe München during electronica this November. Our application page sets out a compact but serious package: a curated place in the Fast Forward area, a live pitch, guided access to visitors who actually work in electronics, and award eligibility.
The broader startup platform is part of electronica 2026, which runs from November 10–13, 2026.|
electronica Fast Forward 2026 Startup Package
Selection is limited to 15 startups. The program is aimed at companies with a prototype, product, or early traction in areas such as embedded systems, semiconductors, AI hardware, power electronics, robotics, photonics, industrial electronics, and test a& measurement.
The participation fee is €2,500. Selected companies receive a booth of about 10 m² in the Fast Forward area, branding, stage presence, pitch competition participation, guided tour access, and eligibility for the anniversary awards.
Connections Beyond Foot Traffic
Fast Forward is designed around structured encounters, not just random booth visits. Guided tours bring investors, corporate innovation teams, industry delegations, Women in Tech groups, and media contacts through the area. A dedicated Meet & Greet zone is intended to give founders somewhere to continue the useful conversations after the first demo.
The latest Electronica show figures list 80,203 visitors from 113 countries and 3,486 exhibitors from 58 countries for the 2024 edition. For early-stage hardware companies, the challenge is not only being present; it is being found by the right people.
Media Awards at electronica Fast Forward 2026
The 10th anniversary edition adds four award categories, still to be announced. Each category winner receives a €25,000 international media budget from Elektor for visibility in 2027. This is a boon for your startup, as many deep-tech startups do not fail at engineering first; they fail at explaining what they have built to customers, investors, and partners who are not living inside the same datasheets.
The award ceremony is scheduled for the final day of the show, with the electronica Fast Forward Award on Friday, November 13.
Who Should Apply
electronica Fast Forward 2026 is best suited to startups that can show something real: a working prototype, a product near market, or early technical traction. The application takes around 5–7 minutes, and the deadline is July 1, 2026. If the product sits somewhere between electronics, deep tech, and industrial usefulness, this is one of the more direct ways to put it in front of the people who understand what they are looking at!
