Elektor Academy and element14  have signed up top selling book author Stefan Schwark to present a webinar on Android App writing. The webinar, broadcast straight from Elektor House,  is free to attend — all you have to do to register is follow the link below. The show is expected to draw a large audience, so be sure to reserve your space in time as server capacity is limited.

Stefan’s latest book, Android Apps -- Programming Step by Step is hot, successfully enabling both beginners and advanced software buffs to develop their own apps for the Android platform. In the webinar, Stefan highlights some of the more intricate points of the programming process, using the Eclipse platform and the famous Android SDK dev kit. The main focus of the webinar will be on programming apps for conducting uncomplicated functions, such as solving formulas, accessing the  Internet and processing data generated by internal sensors.

The webinar (in English) consists of a 30 minutes presentation followed by a question-and-answer (Q & A) slot during which selected viewer’s queries are discussed and answered. The minimum requirements at the viewer’s side are successful registration, a valid email address and a PC with broadband Internet access. All Elektor/element14 webinars are free to attend by everyone. Don’t miss it!
