It is with deep sadness that we today learned of the unexpected passing of Dr. Syed Salman Asad, founder and CEO of AMSEL GmbH. The Elektor team was informed of his recent passing from our friends at LabAix in Aachen, Germany.
Dr. Asad was a visionary entrepreneur who founded Advanced Materials and Surfaces for Environment and Life (AMSEL) with a mission to revolutionize surface engineering through ecological solutions. His innovative eBlaze technology provides chemical-free treatment for high-power electronics soldering, conformal coating adhesion, and electronic housing sealing — all while being ergonomically safe, carbon-free, and environmentally sustainable.
