The Arduino Foundation, the community around arduino.org, invites makers, designers, developers and enthusiasts from all over the world to enter their Christmas 2015 contest. The rules are simple, just publish your Arduino-based project on GitHub and fill in a form to tell the organizers of the contest where they can find it. The authors of the best 1000 projects will be rewarded with the newly released Arduino UNO WiFi board and become a beta tester.

Sponsored by the Arduino Foundation and their partners, each contestant also automatically joins the UNO WiFi developer program where $100,000 will be divided among three scholarships of $10,000, six scholarships of $5,000 and 40 scholarships of $1,000.

There is no specific requirement to participate, the contest is open to anyone interested. Inscriptions close on January 31st 2016.
