Electronics kit tester Jos Verstraten first contributed to Elektor 50 years ago with an article titled "Besturing van de laatste dekade van een digitale teller" (Elektuur, October 1970). Now the Landgraaf, Netherlands-based designer offers a behind-the-scenes look at his home electronics workspace. Verstraten has used the space — which was once a child's room — for the past three years for his home electronics lab, where he enjoys testing inexpensive kits and modules. He currently stores a variety of handy electronics test and measurement equipment to the left of his computer and printer. And all the necessary connected wires are neatly tucked out of the way under his desk. What an excellent space for designing, testing, and writing about electronics!
