Magic Eye on Windows 10
In January 2010 Elektor published a magic eye, an electron-ray indicator tube, to visualize the processing charge of the CPU in a PC. The glowing tube, more aesthetic than useful, was intended for PC modders seeking that special thing to make their box stand out. The project came with a driver for Windows that worked fine at the time, however, today, more than six years and a couple of versions of Windows later, the driver no longer works. What to do?
