Build a Random-Number Generator with Isolated USB Interface
Some people go to great lengths to generate numbers that are as random as possible. In issue 3 of 2017, we published a design for a Truly Random-Number Generator by Luca Matic that used an SD card to store the produced random data. This variation of the project replaces the SD card by an optically isolated USB interface. Now data can be stored directly on a computer while an application written in C# provides easy fine-tuning of the generator's analogue filters.
