The Very Low Frequency (VLF)
bands are found between 10 kHz and
30 kHz; the LF frequencies occupy
30 kHz to 300 kHz; and the medium
wave (MW) band is from 300 kHz to
3,000 kHz. Within the medium wave region
is the AM broadcast band, occupying
540 to 1,700 kHz.
