Bandgap Reference
Voltage references are a necessary part of voltage regulators, data acquisition circuits and a variety of other analog circuits. A special class called bandgap voltage references is typically used for their temperature compensated high accuracy performance and since they are hidden inside of an IC most people don’t give them a second thought.
