The popularity of a few so-called esoteric projects published in the early years of Elektor Magazine was tremendous. The Kirlian effect is particularly remembered! Would there be a renewed interest in similar topics?
The differences in measurable potential on plants aroused the interest of Walter Polleros, who presented his BioLight project at the Fast Forward Award competition at electronica 2016. The electrical fluctuations of a plant are captured by his electronics and translated into captivating colour changes by an RGB LED. This enjoyably lightens the translucent pot of the plant.
