Improving memory management is now high on the list of the embedded developer. Hackers will use weaknesses in embedded systems as entry points to attack the systems they are connected to, so engineers need to apply the long-established DevSecOps (Development, Security, Operations) development approaches used by traditional IT developers. AdaCore supports this effort with tools for languages such as Ada/SPARK and Rust that have stricter memory management policies, backed up by code analysis tools that integrate into CI/CD workflows. Stuart Cording stopped by AdaCore during embedded world 2026 and wanted to learn everything there was to know about these tools.
