All electronic circuits contain resistance, capacitance or inductance or a combination of two or three of these quantities. Yet, there are amateur constructors and even service engineers whose workshop does not include a single instrument for measuring these quantities-an LCR meter. The instrument described in this article provides the accuracy of a reasonably good commercial LCR meter but does not cost the earth.
