The Raspberry Pi Pico is a popular development board that offers high processing power with low power consumption. And it represents excellent value at just €4 a pop. The RP2040 microcontroller used on the board has a (so far) unique feature: two independently programmable I/O controllers. Using working examples, we take a closer look at the benefits these can bring to an application.
