The UDOO BOLT is a quantum leap compared to current maker boards. It is almost twice as powerful as the MacBook Pro 13” for a starting price as little as $229. It’s the world’s first maker board based on the AMD Ryzen™ Embedded V1000 SoC, which integrates the transformative AMD “Zen” CPU architecture with the powerhouse AMD “Vega” GPU architecture on a single die and, with a top speed of 3.6 GHz, it is the maker board with the highest CPU clock on Earth. Its GPU unlocks a whole new level of immersive experience, supporting any current AAA game, HDR, Radeon FreeSync™ 2 and, last but not least, video streaming in 4k resolution at 60 fps on four screens at once thanks to four video ports – two USB-C and two HDMI 2.0 which, by the way, are FCC and CE certified. Designed for AI, VR, AR and Computer Vision, it embeds the groundbreaking AMD SenseMI Technology for true machine intelligence. Storage-wise it supports M.2 NVMe, M.2 SSDs, SATA, and USB 3.1, and also mounts a 32 GB eMMC, but if the campaign hits $800,000 the UDOO Team promises a free 64 GB eMMC upgrade.

For the hardcore makers, the UDOO BOLT also mounts an Arduino-compatible platform, complete with IOs for the CPU and the Arduino onboard. Furthermore, it features Grove connectors for easy tinkering, not to mention the keyboard scan which allows to build combo custom controllers.

The UDOO BOLT runs Windows and Linux and it’s plug and play.
