What’s New for the UK Microelectronics Ecosystem
on
The UK microelectronics ecosystem is moving quickly - and Microelectronics UK 2026 is bringing more of it together in one place.
On 29–30 September at Excel London, engineers, technical leaders, researchers, manufacturers, OEMs and technology providers will come together across semiconductors, photonics and embedded systems for two days of technical insight, technology discovery and new connections.
Visitors can explore solutions from 175+ exhibitors, hear from 120+ speakers and access five stages covering the technologies and challenges shaping the sector.
This year, there is also more happening beyond the main conference programme.
The Discovery Stage will bring technology to life through live demonstrations and workshops, giving attendees the chance to see new ideas in action rather than only hear about them on stage.
Talent Foundry, taking place on 30 September, will connect students and early-career engineers with experienced professionals through focused mentoring conversations. The first mentors announced include professionals from Arm, AWS, BT, Leonardo, Nokia, Volkswagen, DSTL, Eaton, Dassault, UKESF, ClearSpace and 5VTech.
The Startup Launchpad will also put emerging microelectronics companies in front of engineers, investors, customers and potential partners, creating another route to discover the technologies and businesses coming through the ecosystem.
Alongside these features, attendees can explore the dedicated Semiconductors UK, Photonics UK and Embedded Systems UK programmes, meet suppliers on the exhibition floor and connect with peers from across the wider value chain.
Whether the priority is discovering new technology, understanding the latest technical developments, meeting potential partners or seeing where the UK microelectronics ecosystem is heading next, Microelectronics UK is designed to bring those conversations together.
