The lines between man and machine blur even more with a device that turns the human body into a data transmitter. The invention of Swedish communications company Ericsson lets you stream 10 MB/s by touch. Using both hands each touching a different device you become the connection through which they communicate with each other. BBC editor Richard Taylor of tech program Click demonstrates the device by connecting two devices using both his hands. Through him audio streamed from a phone is send to loudspeakers and becomes audible.

The possible applications are only limited by the imagination. A link on a smart device can be send to your phone simply by touching it. You don't even have to take your phone out of your pocket.

I guess handshaking will never be the same again.
