NovaBike: Biofuel Monster
The Delft University of Technology is entering the Dutch Open Race Championships with a biofuelled motorcycle. The sustainable NovaBike will have to face normal fuelled bikes on the circuit of Assen next weekend. The eco monster was designed and will be raced by studens of the UT.

The design team used a KTM cylinder block as inspiration for the NovaBike and came up with a 650 cc, 6 gear, VEMS Open Source beast. No wonder the bike will enter the 'MonsterClass' in the race. By using bio ethanol the bike won't only be clean but is able to reach a top speed of more than 230 km/h.
