Vodafone UK announced the release of a new gadget: the Vodafone 247 solar powered phone. It's a cheap, 'nothing-fancy' phone with mediocre specs. It calls, it can send text messages, it has a built in FM radio and a colour screen. There's only one feature that can save this phone from becoming a flop: its ability to charge itself with sunlight. A phone like this might come in handy for those trips to desolate areas without any power sockets and way too much sunlight. I've been in places like this.. they're mostly known for parasites and malaria so a phone can come in handy there :)
