Analogue Design and Circuitry
(Almost) everything you always wanted to know about...
Q. How can you keep noise in an amplifier as low as possible? A. Choose resistor values that are as low as possible, but make sure that the currents are not higher than the amplifier or the individual stages can supply. The feedback circuit is also a load for the amplifier. Keep an eye on the maximum current needed by the load, and maintain a good safety margin. Too much current will also cause more noise and increase the distortion.
