Dual Hot-wire Anemometer
for tracking down draughts, adjusting a dual-flow ventilation system, or just for experimenting
To measure how well a building is sealed, we go about it a bit like a inner tube: we pressurize the building so as to then measure the escaping air flow. This infiltrometry involves fitting an adjustable fan hermetically into one of the building’s openings – for example, the entrance door – with all the other openings kept shut.
