Rather than attempting to identify a particular jammer, the design watches the radio channel itself. Normal alarm sensors transmit only briefly when triggered, while a jammer may continuously occupy the frequency to prevent legitimate signals from getting through. The Jammer Alarm recognizes this difference, making it a simple additional layer of protection for a wireless security system.The circuit combines a 433.92-MHz receiver module with several classic building blocks. A 555 timer configured as an astable multivibrator generates a short pulse roughly every 13 seconds. This pulse activates a small 433 MHz transmitter, producing a regular test signal that the receiver should detect when the radio channel is operating normally.
A further 555 timer controls the alarm duration, while a transistor output stage drives an external warning device. LEDs provide visual indications of normal reception and alarm status. The prototype also includes a pushbutton that allows the transmitter section to be tested manually. Despite its useful security function, the design relies largely on inexpensive, readily available components and straightforward analog timing circuitry.
