Easy to assemble glittering LED circle

May 10, 2016 | 13:13
This 32 LED circle runs from two CR2032 batteries. Various circular animations and blinking multi-colour light effects are possible with this simple red, yellow and green LED design driven by an ATmega328p, easily programmed with the Arduino IDE. Since this microcontroller lacks the outputs to drive so many LEDs individually, these are placed in a 4 x 8 matrix (only 12 outputs required). The PCB has a diameter of 76 mm. Through the ISP connector, users can easily upload their own pattern. Choosing between patterns is possible with the mode button.
