It has been called the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth. At least it is a unique event that you should have joined at least once. As the global website calls it: Maker Faire is part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new! It is a celebration of the Maker Movement.

A cool day (or weekend) out for the whole family to see other peoples inventions, creativity, and resourcefulness to inspire your own! It is a show whereyou can look, learn and participate together with tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, food artisans, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All these Makers come to show their creations and share their learnings.

You will get a glimpse of the future and be inspired to become a Maker yourself (if you weren't already that is).

There are numerous Maker Faires all over the world. They can be fiound on the global website. We would like to highlight for now the Detroit Maker Faire, that takes place on the 29th and 30th of July 2017 where inside (and outside) Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, you can explore 24 acres of imagination meeting determination.
