Elektor Academy and Element14 are excited to bring you the sixteenth installment of our free webinars based around another hugely popular project from Elektor Magazine! In this webinar, long-time Elektor Magazine reader and contributor Martin Ossmann will be outlining some of the basics surrounding Radio Frequency Identification Devices (RFID), before moving on to a 125 kHz RFID reader which requires no special modules and can be made from home!

Ossmann will also be displaying matching, homemade RFIDs for use as sensors, demonstrating a some baffling tricks with MIFARE cards (using an Elektor card reader) and performing some astounding reverse engineering of a commercial card reader. Add to this the experiments with RFIDs of the ISO 15639 class we have in store and this might be the best webinar we’ve hosted yet!

The webinar (in English) consists of a 30 minutes presentation followed by a question-and-answer (Q & A) session during which selected viewers’ queries are discussed and answered. As usual, participation in this webinar is absolutely free-of-charge, with the only attendance requirements being a successful registration, a valid e-mail address and a PC with broadband internet access.
