It’s time for another Webinar, courtesy of Elektor Academy and Element14! Seventeenth in our series, we’ll be focusing on the beloved Raspberry Pi and introducing its Expansion Header. Presented by long-time Elektor contributor Tony Dixon, you’ll be guided through the use of the General Purpose Input / Output (GPIO) pins and Pi’s serial interfaces (which include UART, SPI and I2C).

With each interface introduced, Tony will also offer schematics diagrams, software installation requirements and program code (Python). Combined with the Q&A session following our webinar, this presentation should have you hacking your Pi with GPIO port expanders, RS232 serial interfaces and more, easy as Pi.

The webinar consists of a 30 minutes presentation followed by a question-and-answer (Q & A) session during which selected viewers’ queries are discussed and answered. As usual, participation in this webinar is absolutely free-of-charge, with the only attendance requirements being a successful registration, a valid e-mail address and a PC with broadband internet access.
