The market for electric motors is developing rapidly. I am thinking not only about relatively powerful motors that are used in electric vehicles and two-wheelers, but also of smaller motors for drones and machine tools such as 3D printers. In January and February 2022, we are focusing on motor control — not only in the latest edition of Elektor magazine, but also online at elektormagazine.com and in the Elektor E-Zine. With the typical mix of theory and practice, the electronic control of e-motors using integrated H-bridge drivers, stepper motor drivers, and other integrated components are highlighted.

Motor Control Webpage

As a guide for all our readers who are interested in motor control (and as part of our our new approach to highlighting themes for each edition of Elektor), we created a special webpage where you can find weblinks to the latest edition of our magazine and the most interesting theme-related articles in our archive. The latest books and boards from our shop are also featured. We all know that we learn the most with our own experiments and projects! Last but not least, we announce an upcoming Elektor webinar about motor control, which is scheduled for February 17, 2022.
