It was about time for Protos to leave the offices of the Munich Technology Center, which had become too small for years, and move to a newer, larger environment. The increase in staff in the engineering areas - embedded software architecture & testing and development of domain-specific languages (DSLs) - required more spacious, light-filled working environments with creative zones, meeting rooms in combination with retreats for concentrated development work.
In addition, Protos is enjoying brisk demand for its miniHIL test system, launched in 2017, for projects with 16/32-bit microcontrollers and their software. Space was also urgently needed for this, both for hardware and software development and for the server infrastructure for continuous integration. And last but not least, the space requirements for the employees in the organization and administration grew at the same time.
Protos has found its new office for this in the heart of Munich, at Adams-Lehmannstr 56. It is easy to reach by public transport and for the sporty ones by bike. The space is in the middle of a quiet park, where living and working in a modern neighborhood, with restaurants and shopping outside, offer a high quality of life.
