This twopart article describes an AM/FM/SSB receiver for the frequency range 0.15 – 32 MHz, which is generally (but incorrectly) referred to as ‘the shortwave bands’. The receiver is microprocessor controlled and avoids many of the pitfalls traditionally associated with RF construction.
