Designing and Making Basic Antennas
based on dipoles and monopoles
The antennas presented in this article were designed for a frequency of 2.45 GHz. This frequency is within the 2.4 GHz ISM band (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) that can be used without a licence in many countries in the world. Some simple rules explained below make it easy to design antennas for other frequencies.
