PCB production pitfalls
Wave soldering is a technique often used to solder complete PCBs very quickly in production lines and facilities. It is best described as running the board over a ‘wave’ of liquid solder, causing all pads and components on one side of the PCB to be soldered quickly. There are problems waiting to be solved, as discussed in this article.
