The ‘electronica fast forward Start-up Award powered by Elektor’ initiative brings together for the first time, the worldwide electronics marketplace, innovative technology and the benefits of an international media presence. The call goes out to new Start-ups, creative thinkers and developers the world over to make your submission to us at:

before the 15th July 2016. As well as developers of hardware boards and systems we are looking for submissions from developers of innovative software. We already have many interesting submissions from applicants based in a number of European countries and also The US. Independent developers, start-up founders, students and retired folk have already been surprising us with their entries in the categories of ‘Idea’, ‘Prototype’ and ‘Start-ups’. So far we’ve had designs for new lighting systems, IR cameras and even a tool that can make run time measurements, useful for controllers and FPGA applications.
It’s clear already that the panel of judges made up of Elektor editors and engineers based at the Elektor lab are going to have a tough job deciding who will go through to the next stage. The best entries in the Idea, Prototypes und Start-ups categories will be showcasing their ideas at electronica 2016 – the world’s leading trade fair for components, systems and users of electronic products. Here a final judgement will be made by an international jury to find three overall winners. What are you waiting for? You could be one of the winners of the ‘electronica fast forward Start-up Awards’, presented at electronica on the 11th November 2016.
The winners will profit from international PR, consulting and marketing services with a total value of 150,000 € and will benefit from ongoing endorsement by the international Elektor network with an outreach to over 250,000 members worldwide. The overall winner will be awarded an international Elektor Cross-Over-Marketing-campaign with a value of 75,000 € including an exhibition stand at electronica 2018, second place will be awarded an Elektor media campaign with a value of 50,000 € while third place will benefit from media exposure via the international Elektor network worth 25,000 €.
